JUNETEENTH PARADE
The Homewood-Flossmoor Juneteenth Parade is more than a procession of bands, floats, and marchers, it’s a commemoration of our past and a celebration of our future. Join us as we celebrate Emancipation Day!
We invite you to participate in what we believe will be the most exciting celebration our community has seen! We hope each and every one of you will take the opportunity to participate in this event and join us as we celebrate Juneteenth in the community we call home. The parade is scheduled for Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 9:00 AM.
We are looking for all different kinds of organizations and groups to participate in our parade:
- Marching Bands
- Dance/Drill Teams
- Organizations
- Churches
- Divine 9 Fraternities & Sororities
- Youth/Toddler Groups
- Women/Men Clubs
- Companies & employees showcasing banners/uniforms

Parade Information
- UNIT CAP: A maximum number of 25 participants permitted are per unit. All member of the units must be coordinated in the units brand.
- ROUTE PERFORMANCES: Designated spots along the parade route will be marked for performances. These performances need to be within a specific time frame of 30-45 seconds. All other routines must be performed while walking to ensure the parade line is consistently moving.
- ENTRY FEES: $50, Non-refundable after April 1st
